Infrastructure System Management, LLC (ISM, LLC) is a civil and construction engineering company that specializes in heavy-civil infrastructure life-cycles.  It includes planning, design, construction, and maintenance services for Department of Transportation(s) (DOTs), municipalities, and privately owned companies (i.e., transportation and water sectors, developers, etc.).  ISM, LLC members are license Professional Engineers in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina, and have over 25 years of experience in planning, design, construction, and maintenance of civil infrastructure systems.

Abie L. Ladson

PE, CPESC - Owner\Member

Abie L. Ladson is an Owner\Member of Infrastructure Systems Management, LLC. He is responsible for the overall day-to-day operation and management of the company.  Abie has over 25 years of experience in planning, designing, constructing, and maintaining civil infrastructure systems.  He has also performed both program and project management services for various private engineering companies and municipalities.  He has designed and constructed over 250 projects throughout his career.  Those projects consists of bridges, dams, levee systems, roads/streets, storm drainage systems, sanitary sewer systems, street lighting, traffic signals, and airport infrastructure.


Abie received an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Engineering Graphics Technology from Denmark Technical College, a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering Technology from South Carolina State University, and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University of Science and Technology. He is also completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Colorado State University in Systems Engineering specializing in Infrastructure Engineering and Management.


He is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Iowa, and is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control.
